How did your sons interview go? Hope he hears good news soon. I find that cleaning 1 room per day, none on Sunday, keeps my house in good shape. Wish I had a garden to tend and the can the produce, too hot here for much gardening but I may try more than tomatoes next year, you have inspired me. Have a good weekend! 

He hasn't heard anything yet on the job he really wants. They had done the last interview last Tuesday. They didn't say when they would get back to him this time. Went to interview with a job placement company. They said he interviewed well. They are going to look for a position for him as well. Canned 7 quart of dill pickles today. Have a wash tub of pickles to do something with soon. Possibly bread and butter pickles. Baked 9 dozen chocolate chip cookies today. They were a hit. Ate too many myself. My house got out of control when I worked over an hour from home and then put in minimum of 46 hours of work time a week. (every weekend I had to work) This went on for about 2 years. I was too exhausted to do anything at my house so it hit the bottom of the barrel. Then for about 7 months I worked two other jobs. Both these were closer to home...but still didn't clean much. Now I am trying to get it under control and keep it up. Have three rooms done...working on the rest bit by bit. Now canning interferes with time to clean also. Always something!
