City-Girl's Journal, 19 August 2013

Well, here I am again. That's okay though, as long as I keep trying I suppose that's worth a lot. Although I am just 4 lbs shy of what I weighed last summer (164), I will again reach my goal of about 130 in about 4-5 months months like I did last year at this same time. I guess I'm lookin' at my "130-lbs by Christmas" weight loss goal as I did last year. Who knows, maybe I can do it even sooner this time. Last year, there were several times where I screwed up a little and had to get myself back on track. So, its all up to me and it depends (as with many things in life), on the amount of effort I put in. This will dictate how fast the weight comes off. If I wanna see results quickly, then I have to stay focused.

Today's weigh-in results:

Weight: 160
Water: 44.5
Fat: 37%

Not good...needs some work. The BF and I've got a wedding to attend in four weeks. That should be enough time to shed several pounds and I should be able to get back into a dress that I bought a while back. This will be a good mini-challenge goal to reach as I attempt to get back down to 130 eventually.

I am in the same boat. Went through a rough divorce over the last few months and almost gained back everything I lost. But as long as we keep getting back on the horse we haven't lost (or we will keep losing?)! Good luck, stay motivated :)
