I am doing so badly. I am trying like hell to get back on track, but it's so hard. My hunger is overwhelming. I have lost the same 5 pounds twice now. I have gone off of my diet and I start gaining weight after just a day of reckless eating. I went out of town on a business trip and I ate, and came back 5 pounds heavier. I am having a huge problem with portion control. I want to eat a footlong Subway or a Chipotle and then just eat like 300 calories the rest of the day and of course this is not working for me. I have to get right and get down to business. My exercise is coming along well, but today I felt like I was going to have a heart attack in the pool - it was so unbelievably cold that I was having trouble breathing as I was doing my laps. I complained about it to my gym but doubt they will do anything about it. It costs a lot less money to maintain a lap pool when it's colder, is what it comes down to. I don't mind chilly water, it's supposed to be colder than a recreational pool, but damn this was cold water. I only got 18 laps in and then gave up and ran for the hot tub. Swimming is so important to me because it is a full body exercise - I don't get the same upper body work on the elliptical trainer as I do in the pool. Those are my go-to exercises: pool and elliptical. I am not a runner, I suck at step aerobics, I'm not that into yoga, and I need cardio bad. Hopefully it will be better and the pool won't be as cold tomorrow. And hopefully my eating will get better - I am hungry as hell right now but I am not eating until I get up in the morning and I will have a veggie burger. I am so into veggie burgers right now, I can't even tell you. And I don't even know why, all I know is that they are delicious.

If you fall off, just get back up. It is not how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up. I know it is hard but try to hang in there. I see you are on a roll, loosing & keeping good track of what you eat, so you are already taking good steps in your weight loss quest. So, try not to be to hard on yourself, you have come a long way.
