Well, apparently I've got some serious health issues going on. I've been having some tingling in both my feet (since about last October), so I finally broke down and went to a podiatrist, to figure out why I am also having joint pain in my big toe and then a neurologist for the tingling. After being shocked for about 40 minutes, I have neuropathy and they think it is related to my L4 and L5. So I get to go get an MRI. Yay. I am also experiencing some extreme swelling in my right foot and ankle, takes a lot of diuretics, ibuprofin, ice and elevation to get rid of it. And to top it all off, I've gained about 7 pounds in 3 or 4 days! I know it's water weight, but it is making me feel so FAT!
To try to make myself feel better, I am going to journal my food just to make sure that it's not my diet. And I've just got to force myself to get some exercise in, no matter what. I am going to do the primal fitness workout for starters, and maybe move on to other things once we can figure what is wrong with all the aforementioned ailments.
On a lighter notes, my wedding in April was just the best 4 days of my life! It was so much fun and I couldn't be more happy. I love my husband more and more every day. And, after a year, I am gainfully employed once again. I started my new career at the beginning of July, in fact today is 1 month. I love my company and my team and I get to work from home 4 days a week. (So you'd think I would be able to fit in some workouts right?) Things are looking up, and I will be happy when this water weight comes off!
