I am laughing at myself right now. So we had our July b-day celebration at work on Wed and I treated myself to cake and ice cream. Then, yesterday we celebrated a 15-year anniversary so I had a little bit of cake. There is another 15-year anniversary to celebrate today, so I already told myself that I wasn't going to participate and I'm firm on that. But this morning we had a fire drill and they provided us with free ice cream at 10:30 am and I totally forgot I wasn't treating myself today. I remembered, literally like at 11:30. I was telling myself I wasn't participating in the party, then realized...oh shoot! I just had ice cream.

I guess I associated a time of day as treat time, instead of the actually treat. I'm such a weirdo and my weight reflects that.

Also, I wanted to try some veggie burgers. They are absolutely delish. but I just read the box today and realized they are made with wheat! Grrrr...sneaky wheat bastards!!!

Yeah and according to Dr oz they can be very high cal. How comes the foods that taste the best aren't good for you . Why can't brocolli taste like chocolate cake with peanutbutter icing. lol I do like brocolli don't get me wrong. have a wonderful weekend and hang in there.

I did think they were high calorie considering that its supposed to be healthy alternative to meat. However, since I eat burgers with salads instead of buns, the calorie count was acceptable for lunch. 2 Patties ~ 240cal. Could you imagine putting that on a bun with all the fixings? Might as well have a double whopper from burger king.

I agree. I've actually ordered a bun less burger at sonic and they fixed it up really nice with extra lettuce and tomatoes. picnic double birthday party tomorrow.back to better eating then. had baramundi fish with shrimp corn and greenbeans is light oreintal sauce over rice. Made in Australia. Bought it at Sharp Shoppers for 1.49 So Yummy
