I'm going to have a shopping day today. Probably eat at McDonalds as we will have a grandchild with us. I plan on having one of their grilled chicken salads which shouldn't be too carb heavy. I will get lots of walking in. It is a tax free day in Missouri for school clothes. I hope the stores aren't too busy.

That salad should be great....just ditch the croutons, if any, and watch out for the dressings!!! Lots of those fat-free or low-fat packets the fast food industry gives you can be LOADED with carbs!! Enjoy your outing!

Thank you Sandy the advice is good, I will definately watch what I consume. I ordered a salad at McDs when I was on vacation and after I ate it I read the back of the placemat and it had 28 carbs before I poured on the dressing!
