It's been one of those weeks. I have two extensions - one for marketing and one for client services. Everyone I work with is at the edge. Including me. I've given my best every day and tried to keep pushing myself to make it through the week. Today I'm so tired, I had spark to keep going. It's 3:30pm and I'm just eating at lunch. Really feel more puky than wanting to eat. A coworker, who is also on the edge, let me know a call came in for me and they wanted to know in demanding tones why I gave them my client services extension instead of my marketing (real, unpublished) extension. Why would I make her take time out of her day to track me down when I could just give them my real extension! I told her that when we initially set it up I was not to give out my 'real' extension basically so I would not be in service ring group and be able to focus on my new marketing position. She informed me that was ridiculous and continued to rant. I stopped her with the words -"Do you have a call for me?" She stopped ranting and said "yes" and transferred them.

I'm at a disconnect whether to call her back today or just wait. I've been working 10hr and 11hrs each day just to keep up with what I'm to do in marketing and services. I had actually considered helping her by inputting her clients into our marketing system - she was not aware that I was considering that. She does an amazing job and I have told her so on many occasions. I frankly believe she has no clue what I do and how stressful my new position is sometimes. I love my new job position - most of it I really enjoy. It's just when others rake me over the coals.....my cup was nearly full and just to hear additional ranting, I just can't deal with it.

Didn't run last night - did laundry (and ate like 1 c of salted peanuts -- they were AMAZING!). Bed again at 11:30p. Back up at 6:45a. Will run tonight. Also need to pick up my clothes (looks like a teenager's bedroom explosion) and straighten up house. Run probably will not be the 5 mile run planned....I'm just wore out and will do one of the programmed runs instead.

Wow, you're super busy! After all that, it's a wonder that you have any energy left over to go for a run! But try, even if you don't go for as long as you want. Just doing something is better then not doing anything at all! Have a great weekend!

Sounds like a lot is going on! Hopefully, things will calm down soon. I hope you get your run in tonight, it might make you feel better. I'm going to try to get a workout in tonight too. Here's to us getting a good sweat in tonight and letting go of any stress from the week!! Cheers! :)
