Hi everybody from sunny Germany!

This evening I feel a bit unhappy, but besides of that, it's an amazing time for me.
This evening we went to eat in a small restaurant. We wanted tapas, because we did not want to eat too much (yesterday we had a dinner with friends, tomorrow there's a bbq with other friends). We went to try a new place where I thought they had tapas. They had crepes and burritos, instead, but we stayed anyway. Well, they broght me the wrong crepe, it was so tasteless... Only bad quality fake mozzarella and tasteless tomatoes. Such a waste of calories. We had to wait 30min, regardless of the fact the place was empty. When I got the wrong meal, I thought I did not want to wait other 20/30 min. I haven't complained, but the waitress realized anyway she gave me the wrong order. Well, I dont think we are going there anymore. I am so disappointed when they do this in a restaurant, and here in Germany it happens quite often, since there's really no attention or care for customers (lucky Americans or Italians... ). I save calories all week to have a good mealand then they bring me something I really dont like. Since I am living here, I really prefer cooking home, what they offer in restaurants it's not special or appealing most of the time.

The past two weeks went well, at the new job. It's such a nice feeling to be tired from work all evenings, learning lots of new things, working on a good project again.
On Monday there's the first business trip, to Frankfurt. I will take some food with me, since I am aware of what kind of bad tasting and unhealthy stuff they sell on trains....
Dietwise, i found a way to deal with the canteen. There's choice between three full meals. I eat half of the meat portion, then buy some extra fresh veggies and eat only one potato or one slice of bread. This way I dont feel bloated after meals and I reduce the calories.
What else? I feel more lean than the past month, even if the scale doesn't confirm it. It might be a bit less stress.

Today I bought some shoes on sale. 50€ for leather boots for winter, 15€ for some fancy summer shoes, both pairs of good quality. I bought them from an expensive shoe shop which is going to be closed or renovated.
So, I have broken my promise of not buying shoes for a full year, I am happy because they are good quality ones. And because I have been able to stop raptus shopping. Trust me, it was a kind of carb monster for shoes and clothes, with very bad effects on my credit card. The past month I bought 2 shirts for my new job (my old ones are too large) and a cheap summer hat. These have been the only clothes I bought since the beginning of the year, besides of climbing shoes and belt (but that's sport equipment). I am proud of myself! :)
From this year on, I wnt to buy less items, but of better quality. And only things I really need. Shopping for boredom is like eating for boredom. And I want to avoid both.

Preparing to go to sleep. Tomorrow it's going to be such a nice day!
