Worked 11 hours yesterday - balancing on my exercise ball. :) Then ran just over 3 miles after supper. Very late night. Tonight probably will be too. Not motivated today as much as yesterday, and really need to be. So later!

I am thinking of getting an exercise ball to sit on throughout the day at the office. Can you really tell a difference vs. sitting in a chair all day? Thanks.

My back doesn't hurt like it used to. It took me a while to work up to 8 hours on the ball. But basically, it encourages you to move. You do have to inflate it when it gets slack, but that's not often. The more taunt it is, the more your abs are worked to keep you on it. I prefer a little slack. I find that my posture is better. The one I purchased does not have a back support on it, and makes you focus on good sitting posture. Definitely get one with a roller base that it sits in. I'm 5'11" and it's perfect for me with the 2" blocks that makes it higher (it comes in package usually). I've been on the ball since December 2012..and I can't imagine going back to a chair at work. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks for the info, I'm definitely going to the fitness store and try one out.
