Today is day 1 of Atkins, decided to follow a low carb diet as WW wasn't working for me very well. I believe at my age 57, carbs are the problem and Atkins seems to have the solution. So I will follow induction and hopefully feel better, lose weight and become healthier!

Diet Calendar Entry for 09 July 2013:
1848 kcal Fat: 142.24g | Prot: 110.74g | Carb: 28.86g.   Breakfast: Mayonnaise (No Cholesterol), Hard-Boiled Egg. Lunch: Atkins Crustless Chicken Pot Pie, Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil, ShopRite Balsamic Vinegar, Lettuce Salad with Assorted Vegetables (Including Tomatoes and/or Carrots), Cherry Tomatoes, Red Onions. Dinner: Skinless Chicken Breast, Boiled Egg, Onions, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Great Value Balsamic Vinegar, Green Peas (Frozen), Feta Cheese. Snacks/Other: Cheddar Cheese, Hormel Original Pepperoni Slices, Cool Mint Mints. more...

I do a modified Atkins on WW. For me it's great, because I lose better on lower carb but still get my fruits and some carbs. On WW you do lose much slower though. But I'm doing this for life, so I don't mind. Good luck though.
