Yesterday I didn't eat well in the evening, so I'm going to try to make up for that the rest of the weekend. I am not back to 100% yet, but I'm feeling good enough to get a workout in today, so I'll get that done and hopefully keep active throughout the day.

My plan for the weekend is to figure out a healthy lunch I can make for the week next week and some quick, healthy dinner ideas. My kids will be going to a "Sports Challenge" all week starting at 6 p.m., so we need to feed them early and quickly. Usually when we do quick dinners it's pizza or hot dogs, but I want to see if I can find something a little better that won't kill the good eating I did all day.

Tacos are quick or those frozen chicken breasts that you can through in a pan and 20 minutes later they are cooked. Microwave some green giant veggies and done. Also, chef Boyardee has a serving of veggies and there are fat friendly versions. Any of these help? Also, get the kids involved. Everyone has to do something and before you know it dinner is ready in 20 minutes and it is healthy.
