A client has lost 40 lbs. She cut out all sweets, and does not eat carbs after 3pm. No bananas and no grapes. She looks amazing! She did the gym thing, with a personal trainer, and is happy at her results. She says she has more energy than ever. She loads up on carbs at breakfast and lunch. She eats chicken more frequently. Red meat, very lean only, 1x a week. Her max calorie intake was 1200. But suggested you could eat more, and just lose slower.

Good for her! The no carbs after 3 would boot me off that diet. 1200 calories max, would make most anyone lose weight I would guess, but I hope she can maintain it and keep losing.

That sounds like the exact diet plan my personal trainer gave me. I have to say that it definitely helps with curbing the carb cravings. I have found that eating this way actually makes it harder to eat much more than 1200 calories because most of your meals consist of lean protein & fruits & veggies.

My doctor just put me on a 1200-calorie/day diet last week. The adjustment to eating so few calories has definitely made me very moody and irritable, but my sister (a nurse) assures me this will pass once my body is used to it. One thing's for sure, I am definitely losing the weight!
