Gisme's Journal, 26 June 2013

Down another pound. Have been testing my urine with Ketosis-stix and I am now in ketosis.

Some of how im feeling: weak and fatigued, dull constant headache that goes away when I drink about a litre of lemon water, stomach aches and cramps. The symptoms are mild but I hope they do dissapear so that I may work out when I go back to work, and still be able to function at my job.

Taking krill oil, L-glutamate, and a multi-vitamin.

Still I go on, its not a bad diet because I feel okay hunger wise. I have cut out caffeine which might be a cause of the major withdrawl headaches but I actually feel better without drinking coffee with caffeaine in it so I think this may be something I am going to keep out of my life.

My blood pressure is usually between 120-130, yesterday it was 117/72 which I attribute to not drinking coffee.

Hi, I am a long time Atkins/low carber. If you are feeling the 'Atkins flu' so to speak, you likely need sodium and Atkins recommends having some bullion type cubes, because of the salt. It does help, I don't know why, really, but I remember it does help. Good luck.
