I am SO DISGUSTED by the cost of food these days! Geez, how can an 8 oz. cream cheese cost $3.59? Coffee-Mate is now $4.19? Half gallon of milk at $3.39? Wasn't that the price of a gallon just a few weeks ago? This is out of control. I want to eat healthy but it is SO much cheaper to eat crap!

Eat healthy, just eat less?

But the more I exercise the hungrier I am! Just can't win...but at least I'm losing (the weight).

So sad to see that blueberries are no longer in season. Bye blueberries! I'll miss you!

Still waiting for the abundance of apples to hit...

Stopped at Trader Joe's for some of that great Harvest Blend...hadn't been there before. Reminds me of Treasure Island back home, lots of interesting specialty foods. Does Treasure Island even exist anymore?

Despite all of the shopping and despite the rain we did manage to get a good walk in late afternoon. Good to realize that it doesn't matter if I have pain at the onset; walking makes it go away. How ironic, when it was walking that used to be so unbearable. Thank goodness that's no longer the case. Thank G-d.

Got the new wrist weights, 1.5 lb per arm.

According to the pedometer:
85 aerobic minutes, 9454 steps, 4.95 miles.

All this walking in the woods...NOT a good time to run out of Frontline! Can't believe I let that happen...stupid stupid stupid!

One more thing I don't understand...oil dips to $100 a barrel, the lowest it's been in months months & months, but the price of gas keeps rising...what's up with that? Using Ike as a reason to gouge us?

Oh I know and the price of eggs is stunning to me!! And if you are trying to eat healthy it's seems to cost even more.
