Wanted pancakes! So I got some frozen ones and got some out today and realized how much sugar and calories was in our syrup. I considered eating them with fruit I have frozen fruits with no sugar added. Considered eating one of the little pancakes with syrup and the other 2 plain.
Then I checked the fridge. I discovered the big container of vanilla yogurt I had got for smoothies. I spooned some of that on the frozen pancakes and it was AWESOME! Now it wasnt super healthy yogurt but it was under 50 calories cause I only used 1/4 cup for my little pancakes. :)

I have made a fake syrup with blueberries,1 tsp unsalted butter and saute over low heat until ready to start poppin juice , add 1 splenda if you choose mash a little to make a syrupy texture and pour over pancakes

I won't do pancakes, but I use frozen strawberries on my low-fat wheat waffles. They are great! But WalMart actually makes a decent no sugar added syrup for when you really want that taste. Or try peanut butter!
