Being in maintenance-mode has shown me that it's not really that much different than in the losing stage, but you need different motivations.
As mentioned before, I don't love running; I just do it. Now, that I don't want to lose anymore weight, I have to mentally work harder to get myself on the treadmill, but keeping up with that discipline also works to help me stay on track with my eating. I run now mainly for health reasons; as we all know it's good to get the body furnace going and sweat a bit.
Have a good day everyone!

I hear ya - I consider this my maintenance mode of 'I just don't want to gain' so I have to consider the food or up my activity. I'm trying to walk more outside and stand longer but that treadmill just bores me. I tell myself 'if you just got on it 4x a week for 20 mins you'd probably give your metabolism another boost...' but that's as far as it's gone. I need a new motivation for structured exercise.

Hi Bella, motivation is a very personal thing. I'm a self-confessed control freak (has gotten better with age though), so I like knowing that I am "controlling" my health. When I wanted to lose weight motivation was obvious, but now I have to remind myself that it's for my overall well-being. I think it's starting to work...but in all honesty; I know it's one of those things I will not naturally love. You just have to do it.
