I officially like soy beans in my salad. This is great on several different levels. I'm doing a challenge where we have to eat a salad a day but the salad has to be 300+ calories so to bulk up my salad I thought i would add some beans or peas of some kind. Extra calories, extra protein, that kinda thing. Anyways I've been buying different kinds of peas/beans to use and so I decide to try soy beans. I have never eaten a soy bean in my life and I admit I was interested to see what all the fuss was about. My conclusion is that soybeans taste like...beans just with a lot more protein that most other kinds.

So I've been eating soybeans for several days in my salads and today it hit me that I don't just tolerate the beans but actually 'like' them in there. There not too big, so that all i taste is beans, but I can still spear them with the fork.
