I've spent the last couple weeks adjusting to the knowledge that I'm pregnant! I have worked out a few times, and regular walking of the dogs, but mostly I am so tired. It's hard because Greg is at camp, so he's gone all week. We had lunch at his parent's yesterday for Father's Day, and then Greg left for camp again this morning about 9:30. And I'm going home next weekend, so I guess I won't see him until our appointment on the 25th.
I'd like to be able to not gain a bunch of weight during the pregnancy, which means watching what I eat (healthy) and how much.
I'm into my 7th week and haven't really been sick so far, just the occasional queasiness.

same symtoms over here! I can't believe how tired I am. I hope I get my energy back for the 2nd & 3rd trimester. Do you find that eating good is tough now that we know we are going to gain weight? I've been letting myself indulge-but making sure I get good food first.

Yes, because I mostly want carbs - bread, English muffins, Pop Tarts, apple fritters...and normally I am not a carb-o-holic. I think it's because since I'm a bit queasy I feel the bread will settle my stomach more than say - asparagus.

Tums were my savior during my first couple of months. They are calcium so they are safe to take while pregnant, too. The old soda cracker fix also works but Tums have less calories and work better :)
