I feel like I'm starving! It's lunch time and I've already eaten my allowance of calories. We literally have NO fruits and vegetables in our house, and won't until Friday which I'm sure is part of the problem. I've been eating carbs and dairy for 3 days, and keep meeting my RDI by lunch time. WHY AM I SO HUNGRY!!! And how can I curb this appetite and stop feeling hungry 24/7!?

Diet Calendar Entry for 13 June 2013:
1175 kcal Fat: 33.59g | Prot: 61.67g | Carb: 155.78g.   Breakfast: Great Value Fat Free Cream Cheese, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, Equate Ultra Weight Loss Shake - French Vanilla. Lunch: Yoplait Light Fat Free Yogurt - Strawberry, Kemps 1% Lowfat Chocolate Milk, Fig Newtons Fig Newton. Snacks/Other: Nabisco Wheat Thins Crackers - Sundried Tomato & Basil, Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese. more...


I know what that's like - eating on a budget! Yuck! Canned and frozen fruit and veggies are better than none if you can afford that now (try 99C/Dollar store). Maybe try drinking more water?

Maybe some fat? Nuts, peanut butter, an egg? Protein and fat usually curb my hunger more than carbs, even complex (veggie) carbs.

I drink a butt ton of water..I just don't record it. Maybe I should start doing that too. Thanks for the ideas about protein too. I normally don't eat nut/eggs etc..but maybe that's what I'm missing ? Doesn't hurt to try, right? I also heard that adding fiber to my water will also curb appetite. Has anyone heard of that before?

When I eat lots of carbs, I just want more carbs. I do eat carbs, but try to keep it to complex carbs (avoid white flour, etc). I agree about the protein.
