I am Diabetic Type 2, for 35 years. I recently started on Victoza & was able by carefully keeping an online food diary and using my Accuchek 360 system been able 90% of the time to get off Novalog. Now with daily exercise & logging all food & am just taking Lantus at night. My last A1c was 6.4. The last 18 months my A1c has been below 6.5. My problem is I am a food addict. So we keep nothing in the house. Rarely eat out & eat a lot of Lean Cuisine, Smart One type meals with a big salad with no oil & a green vegetable. Eat only one meal per day At night. Average less than 1,000 calories a day. CHEAT about 3-4 meals a month.
