Just got back from a trip to Provo. Besides spending time with grandma, the best part of the trip was going on three trail runs. Thursday I ran from grandma's house most of the way up Rock Canyon. It's moderately steep, but not so steep that I ever had to walk. It was of course beautiful up there and it reminded me of when we hiked up there with Ryan two Christmases ago. On Friday I "ran" to the top of the Y from grandma's house. I'll admit that I wasn't actually able to run the whole time. Once I hit some of the steeper switchbacks I had to hike for a bit, but none the less it was a great workout. On Saturday afternoon I hiked up past the Y to Bear Flats and beyond to Maple Flats. Me, you and Ryan did a good part of that hike the same year we hiked Rock Canyon and I know you went up that way when you hike to the peak of Y mountain. It was so nice, green and pretty up there. I really miss not living near those mountains. I've attached some pictures below from the Maple Flats hike.
