Good Evening All,
Whew!!! What a day!! I got the kids off to school threw some stuff in the crockpot for dinner, went off to Curves for a workout. Hubby was off today, but he is sick and opted to stay in today. From there I went to Goodwill to look for some jeans for me as the ones in my closet are too big. Yeah!!! LOL Spent an hour and a half in there. I find it very calming and relaxing. I love our Goodwill store. I just loose track of time there. Then I had to go to Walmart for groceries. Got that done. Went home and proceeded to clean my daughters room out some more. I got two more bags of stuff out today including clothes she is growing out of. I have a stack for consignment and a stack for Goodwill. I also got everything organized in there and cleared out a bit. All the while I was doing loads of laundry throughout the day.

All in all it was a very productive day. I am great at doing the laundry and folding it, it just doesn't always get put away as soon as I liked. So I am trying to change my ways and did that right away today and also did some organizing in my closet.

Yesterday was hectic with taking dad to the dr. Hubby and I did some running in the morning and I had nto take him in the afternoon. That is a very complicated and stressful situation for me. I am an only child and my mom works full time, so it is up to me to get him to these appts. and he has quite a few. Not that I wouldn't do anything for my dad, but he is not the most compliant pt. and it makes it frustrating to say the least.

Anyhoo!!! Sorry to ramble, but I was journaling for therapy I think. Sometimes it helps just to get it out a bit.

Oh yeah and I feel like I'm getting what my hubby has;( Yippee.....

I hope you all had a great one today!

Whew - I am exhausted from reading your journal...I hope you don't get sick.. I understand about the non compliant pt... but not much you can do about it... At least you are able to get your exercise in... that in itself sometimes is the best therapy... Keep smiling and I hope things are ok with your dad....

You didn't say if you were successful in your hunt for jeans! I tried to look for jeans at our Value Village but there was not a lot to choose from (not unless you like high-waisted mom jeans from the 80's... in acid wash!). It must be tough dealing with an ailing parent. I am so fortunate that both of my parents are pretty self-sufficient still. It's a good thing, too, since they live on the west side of Vancouver Island! No quick pop in for a visit for me. So look at that as a silver lining - you have them close by. Hope you don't catch hubby's icky boy germs... hehehe. Stay healthy!

Holy 'busy mom' Batman!! WOW!! I got tired just reading your journal today:O)!! Good job getting so so much accomplished today! I'm going to take you day and try and copy some of it into my day tomorrow. I have the hardest time getting clothes put away...they will sit in a folded pile for TOO long...I'm getting at it tomorrow! Thank you for motivating me! Hugs to ya and I think you need to sit with your feet up for a bit and re-coop from your busy day! Stay well!!

Yes, I did find 3 pairs of jeans yesterday Evelyn. I didn't try them on in the store but brought them home. Two fit, they were 12's and the one pair of 10s I got will fit soon. I have been wearing some 10's. I wish the sizing was more consistant. That makes it hard. I do love my Goodwill store though. Lot's of goodies.
