My muscles ache but in a good way, not so much that I can barely move. I regard it as progress. It isn't so much that I want to lose weight as I want to have better tone to my muscles especially in the mid section. I'm feeling it in my legs, thighs and butt as well as the waist. I must be doing something right. However, I am having trouble with the 5k challenge; I just don't have it in me to run, never have. I forced myself to at least try this morning (I didn't want to go at all, lol). I did well at first, increasing time by only 5 seconds each jogging session but could only do 5 reps instead of the 8 needed. I think I'll try again tomorrow morning, trying for at least 6 reps. The dog is doing great! He gets it that we need to be in sync at least while jogging, walking time is OK to sniff a bush or two. He also ALREADY understands what it means when the timer alarm goes off...told you he was smart.
