Last night I just wasn't hungry. Same thing this morning. Nothing sounds good and I really don't want to cook. I hope this doesn't mean by the time my appetite returns that I'll go hog wild.

I wish tht I had my own personal chef. Maybe I should make that my goal. Hmmm...It sure has some posibilities. I do love to cook. I'm just not in the mood.

This week has been a bit difficult. My Aussie was so sick that I was actually afraid she might not make it. Thankfully, the prayers, the antibiotics and fever meds have done their job. She is back to normal. How do I know this? Well, for two days she wouldn't eat or chase the cat. Last night, she chased the cat not only off the porch but up a pine tree. She spun around ran back to the deck with what can only be described as a swagger and had a big old grin on her face. Usually I don't approve of her chasing the cats. Last night it was like a victory!

We are still praying that the rain will stop. It hasn't. There is flooding all around us. Still a lot of rain in the seven day forecast too. I am not sure what we will do about planting this year. All of that is still up in the air. The men are all talking about it but no decision has been made. There are a lot of hypotheticals out there. Lots of what ifs. I am thankful I have a job where I can always take more hours if I need to. If we absolutely had to, we could live off of my salary.

I need to plan some meals for this weekend and take the thinking out of this weight loss game. I work all weekend so if I don't plan something today, all of my meals will be left to chance or to my own devices. Neither works in my favor.

Off to evaluate the fridge. Have a great weekend.

I'm sorry to hear about all the rain. SO, happy your dog is back to her ol' self. That can be so stressful. Maybe why you haven't felt like eating. I hope that works itself out in a positive way and you find things you can make that are, maybe, new and interesting to encourage your eating. If I have veggies cut up and chicken or turkey cooked (even fish), I can throw together a meal, a salad, something. I love Atkins and will do it forever. Have you searched any low-carb sites? I check out yourlighterside and alldayithinkaboutfood. They are good ones. We've even made low-carb ice cream and lemon meringue pies that are sooo fantastic it's hard to believe they're "legal". Have a great weekend. Robin
