Alright after much thinking, I am going to give up Zumba for the summer. No worries though I am filling it with Strength Tabata. I've alwas wanted to try it, and to save some cash it is offered where I box. Soooooooooo.... right now until I change my mind my summer schedule will look like:

Monday: Strength Tabata & a Pilates class
Tuesday: Boxing when possiible w/the lecture schedule for my program
Wednesday: Body Shape Poylymetrics
Thursday: 2 Boxing Classes
Friday: Boxing Class
Weekend: Yard work/house work/&rest.

Ya much to do and so little time!!!


My schedule looks just like yours ... except Monday thru Friday, LOL.

I would like to try a boxing class, but I haven't found one offered in my area. I've been doing my cardio kickbox videos and am really enjoying mixing those in with Pilates. I checked out a Pilates class I could do during my lunch hour, but it was $55.00 an hour, not in the budget right now, so I'll just have to stick with my lunch walks when the weather cooperates.

$55 an HOUR???? Really? Wow that is a lot Skirch! I'd chk w/your local rec centers, or adult education classes, that is where I do mine. Boxing plances are very popular right now so you should be able to find one that fits what you need/want. I love mine because it is a full body work out. Hitting the bag, planks, pushups, cardio, jumping jacks, ab work,squats, lunges, and stuff I have bad dreams about (Just kidding). I have never done a tape for boxing, but another one of my buddies does them and she really likes them. Keep looking, you'll find a good space!

I thought that seemed a bit excessive as well! I've been poking around at a new place that does spinning. I might give that a try.
