So, I had a little triumph yesterday, lol.
I've been looking for a zipper sweatshirt for the chilly fall evenings that are coming up (far too quickly, if you ask me). Yesterday, I went out for coffee with a friend and there they had on display a zippered sweatshirt - with their logo on it, so you're basically a walking billboard for them, lol. But, I like their logo - and I like that i'm representing my hometown so it caught my eye. Needless to say though, the largest size they went up to was an XL.
Now, I think I completely skipped over the XL size as I was on my way up the sizing scale...I don't think i've ever purchased anything in that size in my entire life, lol. But, as I was holding it - looking at it - i'm thinking..."Wow, this looks like it might just be large enough to fit me!"...so, for kicks and giggles, I tried it on. And by golly, although it is a little snugger that I generally like my clothes, it FIT! And even though I think it fits snugger, everyone i've asked so far says that it looks fine! I was like...wow...i'm wearing an XL!!! :) :) Not that I think I can run out and start buying clothes in that size just yet, but it's nice to see that something that would have been no where near zipping shut 3 months ago - fits me and looks decent!
Hard work pays off. Don't give up! :)
