Initial thoughts:
There are a LOT of pills! I didn't realize that when ordering because everything had a weird name. The good side is that will force me to drink a lot of water to choke them down.

I have heard a lot of great reviews (online and word of mouth) about the Advocare "Spark" drink. People that have done Advocare typically continue to purchase Spark because it gives great energy and also a ton of vitamins. Many people even replaced coffee with Spark. I live for artificial energy (including tons of coffee) so I look forward to Spark drinks. I NEED MY ENERGY! Especially if I have to stop drinking coffee while doing this.

There are luckily plenty of guidelines that came with the Adovocare package, so to help me remember everything I need to take and when. The intention of all of this is a cleansing and to prep the body for weight management. It is not intended for long-term weight control, but of couse, they have other products for that (which I DON'T intend to use.

I have never done a cleanse before, so this should be helpful for my overall health and to kick-start dieting. Also, portion control -- and control in general -- will be great practice for long-term weight loss success, after my 24-Day Challenge.... no matter what diet plan I choose to follow when finished. They also recommend activity each day, so I plan to incorporate that as well. Should all be positive, if followed correctly.

I am having date night with the hubby tonight, and my last "normal" meal before 24-days of weird pills, shakes, raw fruits/veggies and lean protiens. I am going to the grocery store immediately after dinner to pick up all the food items I will need. I am looking forward to FRUIT! :)

wow, that's a lot of stuff, sounds expensive...

I know what you mean about the fruit Holly. After following Atkins for a while, you start to crave things like apples and bananas, lol! I'm enjoying my berries and melon in OWL however, and the fact that I can have them with heavy cream just takes them over the top, yum! Good luck with the cleanse, enjoy your fruit! :)

Yes, it is a lot of stuff, Summervijx, and expensive! ($200 for 24-day challenge.) I had an awesome fruit salad for lunch, along with one of my all time favorites that I have been missing - Squash Souffle! It is an organic, all natural souffle from the freezer aisle. Luckily, I still have about 10 of them stocked in my freezer from pre-Atkins days. Man I love them. The "Spark" drink was pretty good (fruit punch flavor) and I have a great boost of energy. I even stopped working for a bit, as I had the urge to vacuum all downstairs, lol. The fiber drink was torture. It was thick, citrus flavored, and had what seemed to be chunks of bark in it. BLEH!!! I do not look forward to that the next 3 days I have to drink it. And yes, Carol, the fruit was awesome. I wished I could have put some heavy cream on my strawberries and raspberries, but still enjoyed having them... along with pineapples, kiwi, and some mandarine oranges. It was heavenly. :)

Hey I guess if it works, it works and then it was money well spent. Hope you have great success and the weight never returns!
