Bummed out. Counting calories for a week and nothing lost
on diet Smurfjam's own diet  


Just because you don't see the scale move doesn't mean that things aren't happening in side your body. Make sure you eating the correct amount of calories to help you lose. Make sure you the calories you are eating are nutrient dense. WHAT you eat can be as important as HOW MUCH you eat sometimes. Get plenty of lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Processed foods contain tons of sodium which can inhibit loss in some people. Drink water to flush out sodium and keep things moving. Protein and high fiber foods help us lose best. Sometimes it takes the scale a week or so to catch up. Notice if your clothes are fitting more loosely. Some people see fat loss before they see a loss on the scale. Get active! Any extra activity can help. Get a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day. It takes a lot of time and patience to lose weight.
