Lost 0.25 lb. Not great but not a gain, and I did have big meals this weekend. Will try a lot harder this week.

Current weight 11 Stone 0.5 lb (154.5 lb)

8.5 lb lost so far

15.5 lb still to go (20 weeks till holiday)

154.5 lb Lost so far: 8.5 lb.    Still to go: 14.8 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I'll bet that part of the reason for not achieving your pound off is just those meals still lagging through your system. You still have plenty of weeks left til holiday, and you don't seem to track your activity fully so you are probably in greater deficit than you realise most days anyway. I would say keep at it, but don't feel that you have to 'try a lot harder' - just do what you normally do and it'll all even out fine next week. Trying too hard is the death of enjoyment & sustainability! Beware the fatal 'starvation' mode :) You're doing brilliantly, this is your life, not just a quick fix, so keep up the good work and don't get obsessive.

Thank you. I agree with every single word you've said !! I was pleased to lose anything at all. I know I've got a target for my holiday but I really am aware that its a lifetime thing and for the first time ever I feel I can carry this on even after my holiday. I won't get obsessive, I like my food too much !! When I go on holiday I don't track at all, and I don't worry. I will no doubt put quite a bit on but I don't care, I will get back on track straight away. I need to track on here though... In my 'previous life' I used to have pizza on a Friday (a full one), followed by a huge bar of chocolate and a family size bag of crisps. Seriously !! So tracking on here stops me doing that. Also I have set my RDI at 1500 but I don't care if I stay within that, I just want a deficit each day and that will be good enough for me. I am enjoying this and don't mind the weight coming off slowly, I know I could eat lots less but then I would cave in all the time like I used to. Here's to another week !! :-)

Atta girl! It's funny (not haha!) how it takes us so long to get our heads in the right place - in some ways it's harder to get your head under control than your stomach, I think! Sounds like yours is screwed on well now to get this done this time, and for life too:)
