My DH and I had a "date night" last night to celebrate my upcoming birthday. He surprised me by taking me to a Paleo restaurant :) I was able to be totally on plan (well except for the tequila, but they make their own low carb sweet and sour for a great tasting margarita). We then went to a movie where it was SO hard to resist the popcorn!!! But I did :)

Went for a run yesterday with my oldest riding his bike along side of me. It was SO fun! When I was running years ago, he was in a stroller, then I was pregnant, then... And now, Now, one of my children can exercise along with me! It was a major turning point and it is a great motivator to do it more often. I don't have enough time to devote to training for a marathon (waiting to hear from grad school whether I am accepted for Fall), but I know I could do a half by the time the Portland marathon in October. I am going to see if there are still spots today... That's a good goal for my 42 year, half marathon, begin grad school and lose 30 lbs (all while I raise 2 boys to be respectful, well adjusted humans, work full time and somehow make time to show my husband appreciation-men are pretty simple to satisfy, I just wish it could only be monthly! Lol).

Super happy with my progress this week! Wanted to get to the 160s by my birthday tomorrow, but oh well. Thankful the scale is going down!
171.8 lb Lost so far: 5.2 lb.    Still to go: 26.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Good for you for staying on plan at dinner AND the movies. My mouth is watering over the margarita though! I am holding out until our beach week in late July. Would you believe that I am also going back to school in the Fall for my Masters?! If you are going for the same thing, that will be really weird!
