GlennM's Journal, 10 May 2013

I am doing OK, not much exercising the past three weeks, but the scale is going down thankfully. I went swimming tonight for a half hour - my left ankle hurt badly, but afterwards felt better. I am eating more natural foods and I will soon drink only organic milk as the regular milk has way too many female hormones in it surprisingly. I am doing research for my books and staying up late 'burning the midnight oil'. I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks kingkeld for talking with me... exercising is a MUST, even if it is just a little a day.

Quality milk is important! checkout the site and for info on quality milk. Also it is best to avoid ultra pasteurized(UHT) milk.

Hi Bren. I think men probably should avoid that too, just men. (I think it has plant estrogens). Boys especially should drink only organic milk - they are getting too many female hormones now as they develop. Mike - is it the cornucopia in Northampton, Mass. --- I used to live there. Now I am in Westfield, Mass. Thanks for telling me about UHT milk too. They said the estrogens are also in many shampoos and things like that, so for men anyway - not good, so I got some soap already that is OK and I ordered shampoo that I can likely get out of town later on. There is also extreme amounts of estrogens now in lower river areas of the USA due to long-term usage of birth control pills, so if one gets their water from such a source be very cautious - especially if young boys are ingesting it.

I see it is another cornucopia. There is a very popular health food store in Northampton, Mass. with that name. There looks to be all sorts of health-related information on that page.

Hi Bren, Mike and everyone else. I will try to get on buddies' journals more often now that I am back on here. It is better to be on here than FB. I do need to use FB in the future to promote my books but for now I need to be on here regularly as it makes a person think, what am I eating? Am I exercising enough? Oh, yeah - I don't need to go back up to a buffet more than twice. I am still hooked on Diet Coke. Last year I gave it up 6 months. It is my only vice besides arthritis pain pills (and not being a doormat for others too) ha, ha. Anyway, I am sort of doing more low carb. I didn't go to the gym for a few weeks and there WAS a loss, so I am on the right path. Three or four pounds a month loss is twenty or more pounds loss after six months. I am likely to buy a mobile home this upcoming winter - it will cost me half of what I pay now or maybe a bit more, but I will be saving lots of money and living in a bigger place, renting is a rip off.
