I am a new Type 2 Diabetic and I have alot of weight to take off . I have protein shakes for breakfast and lunch ..for dinner I have a regular meal. I take 16 units of insulin in the mornings ( but I am experiencing lows late in the afternoons )I take 38 units at bedtime .
