I am doing terribly. I ate 5 crispy burnt mini brownies today...and wondered why as I put each one in my mouth. Hopefully it will get better...self control, where are you?!

I find it hard as well with children. I give them snacks and treats all day and its like a robot, the hand goes towards my mouth and I have just eaten 5 cookies :) I really have to consciously remind myself dont eat that. I also tried wearning a pink rubber band on my wrist (My eating hand) so when I look at it it reminds me to PUT THAT DOWN aka stick to my calorie count. Dony beat youself up just jump back on the wagon :)

Thanks so much, Autumnhollis...the rubber band idea is an interesting one. It seems like eating kids leftovers is also a calorie catastrophe! Not having stuff we don't need to eat in the house for both kids AND grown-ups seems like the only workable solution. Back on the wagon we go...thanks for the encouragement!
