Yay for little successes.
Went for a run today and it was one of those beautiful cooler days that makes me really look forward to fall. I broke 3 miles - which was great, I should do that distance more and I'm hoping that having success with it helps me continue to have success with it, I still have runs occasionally where after about a mile and a half I want to crap out.
Running seems so different from my swimming training and I'm wondering if it should be that way. I'm not doing interval training with my running, but that's primarily because I find that when I stop running and try to pick it back up again I have a *realllllllllly* tough time running for any extended period time.
I'm effing going to break 40 minutes in my 5k this year, I can feel it and that feels AMAZING. And when I do I'm going to get my penguin tattoo and set a new, tougher goal.
I love feeling excited about possibilities. I just need to figure out how to keep this high up longer. :P
