It has become apparent that if I don't participate in this weight loss plan with my significant other, I will have to endure the wilting glare of the stink eye from her, and my friends, you would do best to not incite the wrath of the stink eye. That being said, I am also committed to losing weight for our impending fall wedding. So that I look sexy for posterity.

So today I had the most lovely and luxurious morning with my hunny. She made a super yummy delicious breakfast, we drank coffee, and admired the wonderful Adirondack spring morning. Alas, the morning fled from us as a swallow from a persnickety cat, and too soon we had to leave each other's company for work.

Work consists mostly of lifting heavy things, avoiding direct eye contact, and humoring imbecile customers. And occasionally, I would restock the fruits and veggies and refill the bulk items. Mostly I think up silly songs and cutesy poems to assuage my mind from the numbing reality that I inhabit. How was your day?
