What?! According to my diet journal, I have not exceeded my daily caloric requirement... yet, I've GAINED a pound. What's up with that? And, yes, I've been faithfully recording my food. Even when it's embarrassing...

I will not give in! I will not give up! I will continue to fight!
228.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 29.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Your sodium levels are really high. Recommended to stay around 2500 and you were over 4000. You're probably retaining water because of it. Try drinking lots of water (I know-it sounds weird to use water to get rid of water. But you have to flush out all that sodium.) Might help! :)

I agree. I have found that the more water I drink the less bloated and more accurate the scale. If it is up, try eating 100 - 200 calories less for a week and see what happens. I don't follow the recommended RDI because I was gaining weight. I eat 1200 calories well close to it and I have been steadily losing. I also cut out soda and am amazed how one coke a day was sabotaging me. Keep up the good work. You are right, don't let it beat you.
