Today, I am back down to 193.6 which tells me that the five pound gain over the last two weeks can probably be associated with water and waste. I didn't go overboard with my eating, but I did have a bagel as my breakfast and pretzels during my snack on several occassions. I know I am a protein and vegetable person and should stay away from carbs, but sometimes I think I can handle a little bread every now and again.
So, by watching what I eat this week I'm am making recipes incorporating a lot of vegetables. And what goes well with vegetables? Meat. Yum! Monday was chicken breast and steamed vegetables. Tuesday I got lazy and just had a naked baby romaine salad for lunch. Then, for dinner cooked spaghetti using a spaghetti squash. Today is leftover spaghetti squash for lunch and snack. There won't be a dinner tonight since my Bible study starts at dinner and ends too late to eat.
My fear is that I will have a hard time dropping below 193 again. I was stuck at 193 for all of February and the majority of March. I'm afraid that its not going to come off :( And, today is a rest day so I'm not going to see a drop tomorrow. And, its not realistic to expect to drop another full pound in three days. :(
Well, we'll see. Protein and vegetables are my friend, so they may turn out to be super friendly...

Now you got the right idea. stay away from the wheat and you will still drop weight. I won't be able to exercise much till I get to join the rec center and can use the pool, but i'm losing about 1/2 pound a week just not eating wheat heck we had soup and salad for lunch and then I had chicken salad on a rice cake salsa on a rice cake and a cup of soup that my daughter made it was yummy.

My intent is not to eliminate any food group from my diet, or even go on a diet. I went overboard in the last two weeks because it was delicious, cheap, and easy. Wheat, in moderation, is not bad unless you suffer from a gluten intolerance. I moderated the wheat each day, but ended up eating it day after day after day. I want my running to help me lose weight. I want to eat healthy choices in a healthy amount.
