You know those days when you can eat everything in sight, and still feel ravenous?

Today is one of those days! Actually today is day 5... I let myself indulge on Monday, fasted yesterday, which normally seems to reset it. But not even that is working.

I just inhaled a _HUGE_ lunch (about 2.6lb worth) and I'm still ravenous. I'm not thirsty (I've drunk a couple of pints this morning). So I know this is psychological not physical.

Lunch was carefully calorie counted. So despite the quantity it was a mere 675cal. More than I usually have at lunch but I have my art class today and the run there, back and 2 and a half hours standing will leave me exhausted and it'll be too late to eat a proper meal when I get home.

That stinks that you are still feeling like this! My suggestion is to drink a ton of water or tea so you feel full and then hopefully the art class will take your mind off of how ravenous you feel... or by that time the only thing you will be thinking about is how much you have to pee. ;D

Came back to the office after class to have my soup as I was feeling so hungry I was lightheaded... And now so full my stomach physically hurts... But still hungry...

Can you have a few almonds and some beef jerky or turkey jerky it helps swell out in the stomach. And small sips of water may help with pain.

I'm not sure what you mean there Bella, different parts of my body were saying 2 very different things. I wasn't physically full when I started eating my soup in the evening. But clearly I wasn't as "Empty" as the feeling of hunger and light-headedness suggested. Because about 5 minutes after I finished it my stomach was full to the point of being painful.

I know how you feel I get that some times when I know I'm stressed . just remind your self that the more u eat the more u gone put on that hips -just ask your self do you really want to eat more.

Sorry - I think of my stomach as 'body' and brain as a disconnected trouble maker. So I understood what you wrote as 'I ate a lot but brain says still hungry although stomach hurts.' And you felt caught in the middle. So if your brain is saying hungry but stomach is saying ouch stop feeding. The light headed - could it be something other than hunger?
