Long walk last night rubber boots and hat was misty,last time I went running encountered a very large Skink scared the bejesus out of me, ran twice as fast home this time was prepared. Walking in hill was different, the last time I took this route was out of breath could not talk and the weight could be felt like a pushcart of rocks. Last night was amazing made it up a steep hill with out one huff or puff legs needed the extra stretch. Was still upset and not hungry mainly because, people never listen when you know your stuff and then well something always happens... no sealed paperwork.Forms are ready ticket is booked...I used to know a personal trainer he was useless, told me some of the things he would say to his clients."Tough love" and was pretty rough, an overpaid bully. I told him your getting paid there is no love. Needless to say never gave me any good advise cause he said "it felt like work" and gained about 8lbs in three months and was negative energy, passionate about the wrong things.I never once heard the positive encouragement,F.S. most of the people share empathy and amazing incite.The cheer section, is worth more than a trainer. People would get better results from the DVDs to watch over and over and come here for virtual support.
Buns of steel and Richard Simmons were fun with no judgement, The second wave of trainers like Jullian Michaels will give a superb work out.Because she was heavy once it gives her credibility, not just the show.

I also love my walking. Luckily I live near the beach and in amild and sunny country, so I can walk most days without the weather bothering me. Twice weekly I do Pilates with a trainer who use to be overweight growing up. She understands all the struggles and gives wonderful advise and encouragement- a real ray of sunshine in my life.

I used to walk all the time before I got married. The road I live on now is dirt, Rocky, and the kids use it as a race track. I am afraid I might get hit. I envy you for having a place to just take a walk. Take one for me. Congrats on the uphill without the huff and puff! A giant step for fs kind. Lol!

I will, country living has it's perks, my friends remind me when I feel nostalgia about moving.

I am happy to hear there are good trainers, sounds lovely to be close to the water was looking for a place near eastern North Carolina.

My dear friends remind me of the dirt roads, and dark country high ways and strange critters..Not to mention we are growers of timber and if we drive down with out of state plates get run off by locals not knowing we have been there probably a lot longer than them. I keep thinking little house on the prairie with internet and they are like its not like that you drive everywhere, more sedentary. I haven't made the decision to move there yet without spending time as an adult for a month or so.It would definitely make the business run better.

Looks like that Skink was good motivation. :) I'm glad you are improving with your walking; that is awesome. I also love Jillian Michaels. :D that is the type of tough love I need, not an overpaid bully.
