The Nutritionist says you can only remove 1 pound of adipose tissue(fancy words for fat) a week, if you lose more than it will be something else. I don't know what to think of this.

Well there has been a string on the forum re "how often should you weigh yourself" It is interesting to learn how to read the patterns of weight your body goes through and the false weight it gives you and why. See if you can find it This may help you understand some of the ups and downs, but I think 1.lb of fat a week is good and steady. But would like to know what I lost in my first 2 weeks if it was not fat? Maybe it was water! Keep going you will get there, I believe in you :) Mo

What your nutritionist said might be typical, but it obviously isn't definitive. The people on the Biggest Loser and other weight loss shows that consistently lose 5 - 10 pounds a week are definitely losing more than one pound of fat a week.
