Josie Ann's Journal, 27 April 2013

Steady as she goes even without running this week! But, we all know diet plays a far bigger role than exercising, so I've watched my food a bit more closely since I was too busy to sweat with work. I've always run with the motivation of it being a healthy thing to do rather than a weight-loss thing as it keeps it a habit in my life.

We're off to Miami and Key West for a holiday next Wednesday, but I will do my best to log my food and activity at the end of the day. Holidays don't freak me out in terms of food control. I have always found it easier when I'm away than when I'm at home. Maybe it's because I don't have access to a full fridge and pantry in our hotel room!

Good for you! So glad you wrote that (diet vs exercise) because I feel that way a lot too. I have never been an exerciser although I stay pretty active. I'm going to stop saying 'I will never BE an exerciser' because I would like to leave myself open to the possibility.

Bella, I'm a firm believer in being active in our daily comings and goings, and it's surprising how much we burn from just living our lives and all that that entails. I know you know all the health benefits of getting a good sweat on, so maybe that's your next challenge? Go for it girl...surprise yourself! :)
