I have a theory--I looked over the Core foods with Weight Watchers and ya know fat free, low fat is great, but could it actually be better for you than moderation of the whole foods?

Diet Calendar Entry for 25 April 2013:

Some of the fat free or lowfat foods are so processed and have some additives that you don't want, so if you prefer the whole foods and can do them in moderation you may be better off. I eat a lot of "lowfat" things, but usually it's because I prefer the taste. I'd say if the moderation of the whole foods is going to give you the same calorie count (or close) as the lowfat or fat free, go with the whole food.
