Great weekend away. My BF is awesome, we were very good at only eating Atkins friendly foods all weekend, and we did a TON of walking, maybe 2-3 hours a day on our feet (and another couple hours of cardio horizontally ;) ). He even tried to keep up with me while I did my squat and sit-up challenges. I got back home to find my scale agreed that I was good, I lost 3 lbs!

Now the bad news: I also got home yesterday just in time to see my mail delivered at 3pm. In said mail was a letter telling me I had a court date, yesterday at 11am. Much freaking out has ensued.

I rushed from receiving that letter off to another doctors appointment. It's looking more and more like the nerve damage in my left arm is permanent, and they have no idea what caused it. I can't use or feel anything in the pinkie or half the ring finger and the palm on my left side, which has made it very hard to type, open jars, hold things, and do all the other fun things a second hand is useful for. I keep dropping about half the things I try to pick up with that hand.

Here it gets Inception-y. I actually dreamed last night that I had been sleepwalking and ate a ton of comfort chocolate (something that has happened before), the dream was waking to find the wrappers and hating myself for going off the diet. I woke up for real (unless this part is a dream, too) and can't find any evidence it actually happened, but still not the most restful of nights. My big goal for the day is to resolve things to the point where I'm not constantly craving comfort food or a stiff drink. If I can hold off until 11pm, that's when the deps (corner stores) close, and temptation is removed from grasp.
181.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 21.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
