My eating and my weight seem rather disconnected. Had a really lovely BBQ yesterday, entirely legal food. Yum.

Diet Calendar Entry for 22 April 2013:
1441 kcal Fat: 97.62g | Prot: 102.92g | Carb: 33.77g.   Breakfast: Steak. Lunch: Patak's Korma Curry Cooking Sauce (Mild), Chickpea Flour (Besan), Atlantic and Pacific Halibut, Chicken Thigh (Skin Not Eaten). Dinner: Fork in the Road uncured black forest ham, Mission Carb Balance Small Fajita Tortillas, Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Cauliflower Bacon Salad. Snacks/Other: Blue Diamond Roasted Salted Almonds, Organic Valley Heavy Whipping Cream. more...

I miss BBQ so much.

I was never wild about BBQ sauce... grilled meat and smoked meat are still totally on my diet. In this case, lamb marinated in olive oil with oregano and other spices for a day and then cooked on the gas grill in the back yard. And pork in a Santa Fe sort of marinade, I think. (And my friend who bought the meat checked with me to make the marinades without any sugar/carby components.) Plus my cauliflower salad, an eggplant/sesame/soy sauce dish and a few fresh strawberries with heavy whipping cream for dessert. Yummy!
