Still hanging in. Mom is doing okay. Her seizures appear to be under control pretty well. I went yesterday and took the Yahtzee game, some fruit, sausage, cheese and crackers and we played a couple of games of Yahtzee. She had pretty good nights and days from Thursday morning through late yesterday evening. She called me around 11:30 pm last night asking where she was at. I explained where she was and why. The rest of the night was not as good as what she has been having. After talking to the nurse early this morning, and realizing she had a rough night, I decided that I would drop off the stuff for church and head straight there. Baby sis did the same. By the time we got there she was doing better and I stayed until about noon. Baby sis stayed until 7. After getting home, I made an omelet then laid down for a nap. I didn't wake up until almost 7. Guess I was tired.

Tomorrow mom has an appointment with her primary care physician. This will be the first since she was discharged from the hospital after her initial stay. OATS is providing the transportation since she is in a wheelchair for the time being. I am so thankful for this service. Transporting her without this would be difficult.

Mom's little doggie is staying with us right now. He is so darned cute, but like most little dogs, he has Napoleon syndrome. He is also VERY hyper...we aren't quite used to that, since our doggies are big and pretty laid back. :)

Food...well, all things considered, I am doing pretty well. I know that I planned to weigh on the 15th, but I keep forgetting to do that first thing when I get up. Maybe this week. I am going to record yesterday and today's food as soon as I finish with this entry.

Exercise...averaging about 7,000 steps a day...not ideal, I know, but again all things considered, I'll take it! Weather continues to be psychotic. One day it's warm, then it's so cold you need a coat. 85 one day and 40 the next. Missouri weather mood swings!

This evening I need to update mom's med list and print it off. Lots of changes. Then dinner...taco salad.

Well, that's about all the news that's fit to print from my corner...hope all is well in yours!

Stef, I wouldn't worry about your weight too much right now, or your exercise. Eat as good as you can, what more can you ask of yourself. And I am delighted you got a nap, you must have needed it. Even God rested one day a week :) Glad you had a few good days with mum, hope all goes well at the family doc's. And I hope Jacob is doing well too. xxxx

I'll start off sending big hugs. I'm glad your mom seems to be on the mend. I have a Yorkie who's 16 yrs old. He was always totally laid back, like a big dog, and didn't realize he was so little. He's totally deaf now and almost blind, missing all of his front teeth, but still seems to like being around. I'm going to miss him terribly when I lose him. Hang in there, get as much rest as you can, eat as well as you can under the circumstances and just take care of you. Don't stress the weight loss thing right now. We're all here for you. You'll get totally back on track when you're able, my friend. Love you. You're in my prayers, and all of your wonderful family.
