Got the box today from my daughter. Fed Ex attempted to deliver it Friday but I was working downstairs and did not hear them. That was FAST. It was so good just to see her handwriting on that box and all I could do not to cry in front of Fed Ex. In her purse she had a short note that she left to me and my husband (her stepdad) in the note she thanked us for being her rock and being her biggest cheerleaders and pushing her. She said she will miss us and of course mentioned the dogs (haha) and said to send pictures..lol. She said that she loves us so much and will see us in 8 weeks. It is good to know that her spirits were in a good place. I am sure these days have been a 'shock' to her (no matter how much we tried to prepare her). I read some of the SR moms have said that their child is struggling and it makes me concerned. I just keep reminding myself that she is tough and she will be fine and I am writing her each day. As soon as that form letter comes confirming her address I will have a letter in the mail to her each day. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Jaime, after the events in Boston yesterday you know how important her job is going to be. Be proud of the girl you've raised, be happy she's safe and most of all appreciate the life you've given her, she obviously does. You should be very proud of the woman you raised and loved.
