Okay so yesterday was a rush and I would have normally talked myself out of working out....not enough time...need to go to the store and work on some laundry and get a shower and start dinner...BUT the promise that I kept to my daughter had me in there on that treadmill and doing 10 minutes of weight work.

Sunkeeper gave me a new exercise for the back...which I will add and I will keep it up.

I got a call from the recruiter and they told me that my daughter is in Ship 02 / Div 903. Now I read this all back and they confirmed, but I believe the division is wrong. They cycle through one division number a year and do not re-use it until the following year. There are already divisions 929 so I think maybe they meant 930. Either way she is in a 900 division (for now..that could change after P-days...that is what they are right now). I am told that you are chosen for 900's divisions and it is an honor (although it means extra work). I am told that the RDC's are watching the recruits as the get off the bus (they cannot see the RDC's but the RDC's see them) and that they are looking for military bearing the way they carry themselves. They will later come in and start pulling you aside and drilling you and then they will decide if you will go to 900's division or to a regular division. So it is neat that she was picked but it will mean more work for her too.

I am actually doing better than I thought I would. I am at peace with it all...I miss her terribly, but I know it is a good decision and will be good for her. I cannot wait to see the woman she will have grown into in just 8 weeks. I THINK her PIR date will be June 7 (that is a day after my Grandma's birthday) some great signs...she is in USS Reuben James (I am Jamie after my daddy James) and her PIR will be the day after my Grandmother's birthday (who will be 97).

You are doing great! I think it is nice that the recruiter called you. Takes some of the stress off knowing where she iss and possibly an update on how she is doing. Now, who are you going to recruit to do your workouts with since she is gone hehehe.... any subjects sitting aroud waiting for your positive influence?

Thank you Ruth! As soon as I get confirmation of her address I will send her a brief run down of what I am doing. Thank you Lizzy! It does take some of the stress of and makes me feel good to know that she was chosen for 900's division (or voluntold...hahaha). No one to recruit to do my work outs with...just thoughts of my sweet girl to keep me from making up an excuse.

Aren't kids great Jaime? Even though she's not standing beside you she's still such a big influence in your life that she might as well be. Show her the woman you can be too, be strong and confident plus many pounds lighter by the time you are together again.
