Nervous as can be tonight, have to go to a cardiologist tomorrow for the first time. My doctor has told me I have 'mild left ventricular hypertrophy' (english - my left ventricle wall in my hart has thickened and is hardening, possibly meaning less effective function of the heart itself.) I am hoping that I've not crossed a line I can't pull back from; and I'm concerned about further tests, restrictions, or even surgery. I shouldn't let my mind run away like that, but I just can't help it.
