Day 9 - Today is going to be a good day. I'm going to log every crumb that I eat. I've been slacking a little when it comes to logging at night. The stress seems to hit a high then and my hand goes into insta-shove mode. I weighed myself this morning so I have a TOM weight. It's a little higher than it was but not bad. I'm going to get to 145 by the end of this month. I said so. I don't care if I end up lugging little man's bounce saucer up to the hay loft and stack every single bale of hay. I will get to 145.

The family seems to be going into shock from this new found determination. Last night the cabinet door opened about 1000 times. Followed by hubby and the 9 yr olds observation that there are NO oreo's in the house. Apparently they have become a staple in our house. There's NO OREOS!?!? You would think we ran out of water. If it weren't for the donuts I think one of them would have started talking about going to the store last night just to get oreos. I didn't point out there is also no ice cream. This is probably for the best until I can get my stress levels under control.

Little man is with grandma a week early. The sitter has the flu and I have too many other things coming up to take the day off just because. I have to take a half day thursday just for appointments. I'm a basketcase. I know I know.. She raised a perfect son that I married. His brothers are a lil questionable though... It's been 2 hours and I haven't gotten a phone call yet. Hubby is less than a mile down the road.. He promised to go visit little man after chores at noon.

I talked to a lawyer to figure out the tenant issues. It didn't stop the non-stop texts and phone calls from the tenants though... they called the cops on each other again. I get at least 45 more days of this fun. I only have half a bottle of my elderberry wine though.. I think a vacation day and a winery tour or two may be called for soon. Maybe I should send them both a package of oreos.. laced with prozac.

Today will be a happy happy happy day. I will stay on track. I will lose weight. I will not attempt to put little man's bottle nipple on my bottle of wine so I can carry it around without spilling any. Now there's an invention! A wine glass nipple! Just put it on the top of your wine glass and viola! No more spills for the lushes.

NO OREOS! LOL-and they ALL had to check, right? See, that's proof the dang things really are addictive. I think making them go get their own treats is a great idea. It has been my experience that if you refuse to go and fetch the junk, the ones that want it usually satisfy themselves with something else or just don't eat anything-since they often aren't really hungry in the first place, it's all for the good. What you don't eat you don't have to diet or exercise off later on. Sorry to hear your tenants are still giving you fits, and I LOVE the wine nipple idea! At least you'll feel happy!

OK, first of all they make wine sippy cups.. I got one for my sister when I went to Three Bros Winery last fall... just saying :-). You tell me when you can go ti wine region and we will do it. I am currently looking for girl weekend get aways. I know you proably can't get away that long but I'll let you know when I decide on what :-). Told the hubby that I just need to. I have never done anything like it and I think it's time.

The oreo obsession is fun to watch. First one checks a couple dozen times like maybe they missed them the first time. Then they confirm there are NO OREOS. Then the next one has to check. There can't be NO OREOS. Then they searched the kitchen. Which really probably wasn't a bad idea. With the lack of sleep I could have put them in the freezer. Who knows. Little man kept running back and forth in the kitchen attacking me while I sipped wine on the floor.

The wine wasn't on the floor.. it was in a glass.

I surmised as much! LOL-if you're sucking wine off the floor you clearly need to focus on other things than weight loss!

Happy, happy day indeed! Don't know how you handle all the stress. If I were in your shoes I'd probably invent an Oreo drink, lets see, we could start with creme de cocoa and add just a little . . .

Hahaha I can just see the fam checking for the oreos repeatedly... geesh! I've seen those wine sippy cups! Or, on its always sunny in philadelphia, they put their wine in cans because they talk with their hands too much and spill. Sippy cup is MUCH more classy ;)
