UGH!!!


So I decided to weigh in after all this time. Since I have renewed my weight loss i wanted to honest with myself. I wish that slant was going down instead of up but it is what it is. I have missed you guys and the accountability just was there there and neither was the motivation to keep going. I am back though and refreshed from the cruise and now back at it. I do want to incorporate some more weight training into my regime and as far as food. I am thinking about trying a vegetarian diet. I mean honestly, we can't eat beef, can't eat pig, cant eat seafood, now we can't eat eggs.

What else is left but leaves and figs....If anyone has an alternative to this let me know. if not I am going to pick up some books and really look into it. Who knows that all these diseases and oil spills will have an impact on our health. I don't want to wake up with an extra nipple from eating something because I had contaminated sushi. Working out tonight.

Girl that's all u gained after 2 months!! that's awesome! AND a cruise mixed in there!!!... that is great... and you'll probably lose weight really fast!..you got this!

I told you, I have been sitting at this weight FOREVER....I just needed to escape. I am hoping just that, since I have been away that the first 5 or so will fall off fast but I won't really know til next month. Yeah, I have been losing and gaining the same 2 pounds for months now.

i feel the same way about 165.. damn it i'm so done with that number!!!! when i was below it i was like cool.. only like 4 lbs away from the 150s ... no.. back up.. and not only back up to 164.. back to 165!!!! the number that i held as such a huge goal is now HAUNTING ME!!.. it really is so frustrating.. but now i'm scared tomorrow i'll see a gain and will long for that 165 :/

Glad you had fun :] welcome back hun! If you are wondering about a vegetarian diet, maybe start slow if you want to test the waters before you jump in! Lol You can always just try 1-2 meals a day as vegetarian and see if its somthing you can do. Its really not very hard :] I still eat seafood, but not any other meat, and I haven't for like 13 years, just make sure you don't substitute meat for bread... or else you gain a lot of weight... TRUST ME LOL :] Looking forward to doing the sit up and push up challenge with you! <3

Shae, that is a GREAT idea. 2 meals a day and also not eating the bread....I forget about the carbs. Thanks so much, I am glad to be back. I will start slow..I am just nervous about that this contaminated everything, but I still have to live me life. Just trying to find the balance and still loose weight.

I agree, it is really hard to work around all the contaminated stuff!! Seems like every time we turn around its something else. But it happens to a lot of non-meat stuff too, like spinach and peanut butter and stuff. LOL. Damn food industry. One thing I do think tho, mainly with how far humans have advanced over the last hundred years, there's not physical need for us to consume meat. In my opinion :] just an opinion. I'm glad to hear you are thinking about it! The bread thing is a danger zone only beacause when you first decide to quit eating meat, if you don't know how to properly, you can find yourself eating a lot of rice at meals, or pasta or bread because you take out the meat, and fill that spot on your plate with more of your side items, and in return eating more of those calories. It is easy to cut out the meat tho :] the hard part is finding the balance for the other foods!

Speaking of food recalls, anyone heard anything about avocadoes? I'm pretty much obsessed with them and the market didn't have ANY this morning. :(

oh nooo.......NOT MY AVOCADOES.........I would just have to grown another nose or get sick if i have to give them up....

Welcome back buddy! :) As you know, I've been "absent" and bot because of a cruise. :) I think a 1.4lb gain is awesome considering it all. Have a healthy week. ttyl. :)
